Henry N. Moseley was a British naturalist, and he went on the HMS Challenger expedition from 1872-76. A few short years after his return, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society. He also served as a naturalist on other expeditions, notably to Ceylon, California, and Oregon. In 1887, he became a recipient of the Royal Society's Royal Medal. Below is one of the many detailed images depicted from the Challenger book.
