Samuel Peckworth* Woodward (1821-1865)

S. P. Woodward was both the son and father of geologists. He became a professor of geology and natural history and eventually went to work for the British Museum as an assistant in the geology and mineralogy section. Featured here is his one known publication, A Manual of Mollusca, which was originally published in three parts.
