Lloyd FriendsThe Friends organization was established in 1996 with the specific intention of sharing activities of the Library with those interested in it and its subject areas: medical botany, pharmacognosy, pharmacy, herbal and alternative medicines, natural products, and horticulture. Membership in the Lloyd Library is an opportunity to become an integral part of a world-class institution. You will be helping to preserve and maintain, as well as purchase, important historical and contemporary resources. Not only will your membership help sustain a place where science and art meet in botanical and natural history illustrations, book arts, and more, but you are helping the institution to grow, by helping fund current plans and programming, such as exhibits, lectures, receptions, and community outreach like the Budding Artists and children's reading programs. Friends receive many benefits through membership. They receive our quarterly publication, Lloydiana, a discount on publications and other Lloyd products, such as note cards and bookplates and can purchase copies of the original Lloyd Bulletins (while still in print) at a significant discount. The higher your membership level, the greater the benefits available to you. Click here for Membership Levels and to download a Friends Brochure |
